ABC to Make How To Be Black Season 1 Soon

Baratunde Thurston and Courtney Lilly are developing an animated series at the Alphabet based on the former's memoir, which "focuses on the community and family that raised a young Baratunde in 1980s Washington, D.C." Cinema Gypsy Productions' Laurence Fishburne and Helen Sugland will also executive produce for 20th Television.
