General information and cast
Currently in its second season, the Australian documentary Housemates premiered on the network ABC2 on October 4th, 2017 with four brand new half-hour episodes. The show hails from the production companies AmaZin Pictures and Mashup Pictures and is executive produced by Mish Armstrong.
This light-hearted documentary series provides an interesting look into how Australians live in shared houses across Melbourne. This is by no means a thing that only occurs there, as house sharing can be found all across the country and mostly these Housemates aren’t even Australian, but travelers from all over the world. Each episode features a new house sharing situation, which often comes with its very own story.
