About the show
A new Australian sketch comedy show premiered on ABC in Australia on December 8, 2016, and subsequently debuted on NBC's digital channel Seeso in the United States on January 12, 2017. The series is written, directed, created by and stars by Sarah Bishop, Adele Vuko and Greta Lee Jackson. The freshman season of the show is comprised of six half-hour episodes.
The all-female comedy group Skit Box is behind the show that provides an unambiguously female perspective on life. Among the wild characters portrayed are, among others, yoga moms, 1970s swingers, fallible superheroes, Ancient Romans, a female Jesus, an all-female police force and the members of The Sheetles, the world's greatest pop band. Powder room conversations, gender pay inequality, menstruation – nothing is off limits.
