The very first season of the brand new reality television series Steve Harvey’s Funderdome premiered on the ABC Network on June 11th, 2017 with eight episodes. Created by Mark Burnett, the show is produced by MGM Television and executive produced by Mark Burnett, Leslie Garvin and Barry Poznick. The host of this inventor’s competition series is the incredible Steve Harvey.
Move over Shark Tank – here comes the fun version of inventions! Funderdome is Steve Harvey’s brand new brain child about funding new inventions, which are presented on stage by the competing inventors. What makes this show a little fairer is the fact that the studio audience gets to decide who will walk away with their money as they have to choose between two inventions for each presentation. The inventors also have the chance to “cash out” by accepting a smaller amount of money in a fast-paced push-the-button cash-out round. If the audience voted for them to win the big fund, then the opponent walks away with nothing and the entrepreneur, who cashed out, will have to keep the smaller amount.
