Summary and storyline
On January 14th, 2017, the channel Centric brought out another reality competition TV show called Queen Boss, which is produced by Ora TV and the executive producers Toni L. Bullock (Kitchen Nightmares, Scrubs), Blake Levin, Suzette Cabildo and John Housman. The Host of the show is Tracey E. Edmonds.
This new reality TV show is specifically aimed at female black entrepreneurs, who would like to have a go at a successful business – very much a la Shark Tank – only here they have to compete for the chance to have their idea turned into a life altering experience. The judges, such as Vanessa Simmons and Lauren Lake have plenty of experience of their own, so now it is up to the contestants to wow them with their ideas. First, they have to pitch their idea to the judges and then they have to compete against each other to win the episode's title of Queen Boss. Simple idea, really. In the end it's all about the passion and stamina of each of the contestants if they survive all the way til the very end to win the big price - $25,000 in startup money for their new business.
