Rogen revealed the cancellation on social media with a thank you note to fans. “The fourth and final season of Preacher is coming. It’s been a wild ride. Thank you all,” Rogen wrote. A clip revealed that the final season will premiere on Aug. 4. (Source: deadline.com)

Mid season, you teased the chance of him getting it back with Star's proposal.

Second last episode: he gets it back and is set up for giving justice to his abusive granny.

Renewal To be announced? Are you SERIOUS?
OBVIOUSLY hollywood is at war with any even slightly - conservative light casting shows - by cancelling them mercilessly or cliffhangering renewal on unrealistic ratings expections that liberal shows like say -- supergirl -- don't need to meet, yet that show was renewed before it even premiered this season and continues to lose fans.
ADMIT IT MUCH By censoring ALL conservative news after Alex Jones was banned from the internet?
Jesus having wild sex on the eve of the Last Supper?
God wandering the earth "finding himself" through BDSM Sex play?
The Messiah an inbred mentally deficient?
If that's all conservative, God (or Dog) knows what you think is liberal!!!
The Director was amazing calm and cool with zero stress on the set. The Camera director was very professional with a great crew who had lots of work on the turnarounds from the back of the church to on the alter area. Outside scenes at the church were lots of work.
AND, I have eight full-length screenplays myself so it was great to see how it's done. I've also been on the set for Independence Day Two had amazing crews too plus others when I take a friend's kids, SAG, to be in movies and series.
Looking forward to Preacher, not filmed in Albuquerque.
