About the series
Monster in My Family is a new American documentary TV series that delves into the dark world of notorious serial killers and their victims from a unique perspective. Produced by Morningstar Entertainment, season 1 of the show debuted on LMN on July 1, 2015. The second season followed on January 3, 2017 with four new 60-minute episodes.
A riveting series, Monster in My Family chronicles family members of infamous serial killers as they reach out to the families of the victims to express their deepest sympathies. Each episode takes viewers on a heart wrenching journey with unprecedented access to the serial killers’ lives through home video footage, photos, journals and first hand accounts from their own family members. The emotional journey of notorious killers' family members to express their feelings of sympathy to the victims' families is facilitated by Melissa Moore, who herself is the daughter of the “Happy Face Killer” Keith Hunter Jespers. Their only objective is to bring some kind of peace and closure for the horrific murders of their loved ones.
