Should We Expect “London Kills” Season 5 on Acorn TV?
”London Kills” hasn’t officially been renewed for a Season 5 yet. Season 4 premiered in July of 2023 on Acorn TV, then premiered on BBC One in October of 2023 and ended in November of 2023. This follows the pattern of one season per year, so there’s still a strong possibility for a “London Kills” Season 5 to be announced and complete filming by Summer of 2024. Summer of 2024 seems like the most likely target, should there be a “London Kills” Season 5.
Should there be a “London Kills” Season 5, many of the cast from Season 4 will return that weren’t written out. This includes Hugo Speer as David Bradford, Sharon Small as Vivienne Cole, Bailey Patrick as Rob Brady, Tori Allen-Martin as Jennie Jacques, and John Michie as Jack Mulgrew. There is still plenty of time for direction to change and new characters to be written in or old characters to be killed off.
Premiering on Acorn TV in the US on February 26, 2019, "London Kills" swiftly became one of the network's inaugural original shows. Centered around a skilled murder investigation team in London, led by DI David Bradford, portrayed by Hugo Speer, the storyline takes an unforeseen turn when Bradford's wife mysteriously vanishes, leading to questions about his judgment. Developed by Paul Marquess, the show embraces a unique approach, featuring a documentary feel and an ad-lib script that allows actors to improvise lines based on a plot summary, setting it apart within the television landscape.

How to watch “London Kills”
As of this writing, Acorn TV is the only location that “London Kills” is available on. With the purchase of an additional premium subscription, the show can be watched via Sling TV, The Roku Channel, YouTube TV and Amazon Prime Video. Individual episodes and entire seasons are available for purchase on the Google Play Store, Apple TV and Vudu.

David Speers plays one of the two main characters of “London Kills” in Detective Investigator David Bradford. As of this writing, Bradford is currently slated for an appearance as DCI John Stone in a podcast series, which could allude to open availability for the shooting of “London Kills” Season 5. He does not have any verifiable social media accounts.
Opposite of Speer is Sharon Small, who stars as Detective Sergeant Vivienne Cole.
