Best sci-fi series I've seen (with Star Trek). Best ever CGI so good it fooled me at first. Dying to see season 2. Please make it worthwhile with 25 episodes this time.

I played Halo 1 & 2 many years ago and just finished watching all 9 episodes of the show in the first season. 5 out of 10 score; OK overall. What I don't get is how the broken ring I had noticed in Halo Infinite fits into the story here in these shows of Halo. How!? And Cortana existed as an external tech for Master Chief, not some implant bot that could disable the Master Chief within the game's stories. I like the story telling and acting, but lots of things just don't go along with the video games of Halo...

I have never played the game, no idea what the back history of these characters is. I have been a Star Trek fan since the 1960's and in my opinion, this show blows all the new Star Treks out of the water. The plots are well developed, the individual character are interesting. I hope season 2 begins soon and has a lot more than 10 episodes.

Let me start by saying I have never played the Halo game. This show is very good science fiction action based TV. I got it from the beginning, there’s good guys battling the bad guys. I didn’t need my college degree to figure this out! If you want more technical intrigue go read popular science! Love this show! Watch it for what it is , very good action series with a lot of battles and explosions, hell yeah!!!👍🏻

While I appreciate the will to give some context to the non Halo players around (which I am), when it takes 3 and a half episodes to do so, tha's a bit too much. ' Almost dropped the whole thing mid way through

There’s a total of 16 halo games, if they took any shorter to explain certain plot points it wouldn’t make any sense. I am confused which plot point you’re speaking of taking 3 and a half episodes though. They explained the lore so damn well, and as a big lover of the games they did them justice.

Thanks for your gamer's view on the matter. [smile]
To be honest, I don't recall exactly what was bothering me at the time. It's probably the fact that these 3 or 4 first episodes contains a lot of flashbacks which, to me, slows down the plot considerably.
I suspect that, in the game(s), you become aware of this lore as you keep progressing, but you might have some 'quests' and whatnots to complete in between.
To be made aware of all this at the start is indeed a good thing, but without the hindsight you have as a gamer, I was only waiting for the story to 'really' start and develop.
