ITV has recommissioned drama Professor T for a third 6x60' series, starring Ben Miller.

Alongside Miller, the second series will also see the return of Frances de la Tour and Juliet Stevenson. Filming on the third series will commence in Spring 2023, and is expected to air late next year. (Source: tvzoneuk.com)

Excellent adaptation for a British audience. Stunning backdrops, beautifully filmed, acting superb. Have a big soft spot for the little dog. It just all works. Looking forward to series 2, also hoping for more dog.

I loved the show! Characters were wonderful, mysteries were interesting, some frame and some wonderful fantasy moments.

This is a superb series. Ben Millar is perfect-and Frances de la Tour as his mother is pure joy. The surreal little breaks are enchanting. The talking fish, can-can dancers-the tooting teapots- they just work. It’s eccentric, serious crimes happen- get solved -and the cast are all melded together perfectly. MORE PLEASE- there are over 30 books I believe? There are do many tantalising hints to the Professor’s back story- we can’t be left hanging here.
