Season 3 has improved over 1, 2 writing, but the writing still needs work! The plots are a bit too simple or predictable. And I have figured out the ending in the first 10 mins several times which is a bit of a letdown! So the show is designed for someone that does not know much of the history of that area of Europe at the time or even currently. If they improve the writing more the show would be much better as all the other aspects are very well done!
The outcomes are unexpected, the drama is true enough to keep us guessing and the suspense is real!
Love the characters from the friendships to the antagonists.
Atmosphere of early 20th Century captured brilliantly…I bet Frank Tallis is delighted!
When is Season 4 coming? I can’t wait.

I was able to watch the newest season of call the midwife and all my other favorite bbc bindge worthy shows well before they aired on TV in the US on PBS. And season two episodes of Vienna Blood are not free on Amazon Prime! They only have one episode and it’s 4.99!
