Doon Mackichan is all set to make a triumphant return to the beloved sitcom "Two Doors Down," produced by BBC Studios Comedy Productions. The announcement confirms her reprisal of the iconic character Cathy in the show's seventh series. BBC Studios Comedy Productions' sitcom, Two Doors Down, has been commissioned for a new series consisting of six episodes of 30 minutes each. The show will continue to revolve around the lives of the residents of Latimer Crescent but will now be aired on BBC One. Production for the new series will start this summer, and it will be broadcasted later this year.
Josh Cole, the Head of Comedy, and Steven Canny, the Executive Producer at BBC Studios, expressed their happiness over the show's success and the move to BBC One. They stated that Two Doors Down has a vast and loyal fanbase who have embraced the characters as their own.
