After a success in ratings, the show was renewed for a second series in February 2021 followed by a third series in June 2022. In March 2023, it was renewed for a fourth series and was broadcast in July 2024, three months later than planned.
Alongside Gouveia and Watkins, the show also featured recurring actors who worked at the fictional West of England Police Station comprised of James Murray (CS John Houseman), Claire Skinner (CS Mary Ormond), Pearl Chanda (DC Laura Simpson), Jack Riddiford (DC Darren Craig), Danyal Ismail (DC Martin Malik), Lily Sacofsky (DC Milena Paciorkowski), Charlie Chambers (DC Samuel Goldie) and Bhavik C.
