Okay, what gives? Travel Channel is using Holzer Files re-runs as a marathon lead-up to the new Ghost Hunters shows. Does this mean it's finally coming back?

I love this show and Kindred Spirits because of the way they approach their investigations. They take time to research the history of the locations, they are respectful to the people they are trying to help and to whoever or whatever may be present. Unfortunately though I don't think the Travel Channel or Discovery+ gives a flip since it seems this scenario is repeated over and over, trying to keep shows as these renewed and another paranormal show which has all but became a joke seems to never have a problem getting renewed or even a 2nd or 3rd series. Discovery+ promised so much in the beginning and I did enjoy much of the content but the amount of old reruns is ridiculous and new worthy content has become minimal on the channels I watch. If this continues and the rumors that several other shows will not be renewed is found to be true I will cancel Discovery+ without any hesitation. Do better Discovery+ & Travel Channel!

I understand what you are all going through . I have Holtzer Files withdrawal soooo bad. I keep checking to see if it will be picked up again.
What you guys need to realize though is it's not the fault of Travel Channel or Discovery+ . From what I have read Dave and Cindy wre the ones who didn't come back due to having other commitments already in place . Both have appeared in other shows aired by Discovery+ .
I , for one, will keep hoping that a 3rd season will be filmed because of the dedication of us fans . I wish it were all up to Discovery , I'm sure they'd have the show back in a heartbeat . However, they have no control over Dave's or Cindy's decisions.

I was binge watching this show then realized it stopped at season 2. I was so upset to read they haven’t decided to provide another season. I absolutely love this show!!! I am impressed with the way they provide the history of each place they explore and how the owners can fully understand what they have been experiencing and how to handle the spirits respectfully moving forward. Please please you have to continue this show! Listen to your viewers.

I don't have Discovery+. ...but I am also a fan of The Holzer Files. I read Hans Holzer's books when I was younger. It's not fair sometimes to viewers who don't sign up to not be able watch the show. A popular program should be available to both venues.

You know what. If you cannot renew The Holzer Files or The Dead Files for anymore seasons, I will absolutely drop Discovery+. Those two shows were the only reason why I got Discovery+ in the first place. And, don't think that this is just talk because it's not. You'll be gone faster than you can say your name. And, you want me to change my comment, No.

Here it is October 2nd and still no word on season 4! C'mon man, get ur act together Discovery! Ir doesn't take a rocket scientist to figye out to renew the best show you have on discovery+ get it done ASAP. If yall don't renew them then kiss my Discovery+ goodbye!!!

Agreed!!!! This show is by far the best paranormal show I have seen in a loooooong time! Not since two other shows ****** & ******(I'm not in the mood to start a who's favorites what and why, stay on topic here). Nobody runs around like a bunch of dumb kids who ate too much sugar, or forgot to take their meds. As well as one episode from another show gave inaccurate information, and disrespectful comments about a Native American tribe in the area that was filmed. The Holzer Files has NEVER, to my knowledge, offended any persons in such a manor. This is informative and the findings, in my opinion, are valid. So on behalf of everyone who recognizes something great, hurry up and start the next season! What are you waiting for? Me to bust out my crystals, candles, and incense to summon some more backup?!!!

Love the show. Gives great historical knowledge behind the stories. The Whaley House episode blew my mind. Folks, there has to be something to these stories. Please bring it back.

Well, here it is the end of July and Travel Channel still has not made up their mind about renewing The Holzer Files or not.I have talked to several people and they prefer The Holzer Files to Ghost Adventures, The Dead Files, and Kindred Spirits. PLEASE RENEW THE HOLZER FILES OR CUT THEM LOSE SO ANOTHER CHANNEL CAN PICK THEM UP!!!!!.

Ok, you MADE us subscribe to Discover+ so we could still watch our favorite shows and now you are playing around with the shows and the fans. You are making more money off of us the very least you can do is give us the shows we joined for. If not, I for one will be canceling Discovery+ and the travel Channel.

Love this show, something I look forward to with my mom. Pay homage to America's 1st Ghost hunter, it needs another season. I got Discovery + because of this show and it so much better than other shows on Discovery Networks. I would hate to cancel my subscription to Discovery + and influence others to do the same. It is better than the Dead Files which gives you a drawing at the end and never captures evps or video, this show does.

I LOVE...LOVE...LOVE THIS SHOW!!! I'm a ghost researcher myself and Hans Holzer's GHOSTS was the first book that I read when I became interested in things that goes bump in the night. The Holzer Files is truly a great show and the best! PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL THIS SHOW!!!

Holzer Files is the best show on Discovery+. Dave, Cindy and Shane are compassionate and empathetic people and there are no over-the-top dramatics. I am really hoping for a Season 3!!!

I love this show!!! Hans Holder was the first author that I read about true ghosts. Even now I have I have several of his books. He never tried to white wash anything but he was very definite about what he was doing. Too often authors try to add things that they think their readers want to read. This show is real. They don't add what isn't there. Travel Channel you need to keep this show on your network. I wait anxiously every week to see this. For the all the personnel of the show--it takes more than the main people to create a top show and you also do your part that makes this show so great.THANKS. Dear Travel Channel--please continue this show!!!!

Love The Holzer Files. It is the best paranormal show and hope it's back for Season 3! When I was a kid, I read about Hans Holzer and Ms. Leek. When this show started, I was excited to hear Hans Holzer was not forgotten. Thank you but keep it on for Season 3.

My mom and I loved watching Season 1 and Season 2 of The Holzer Files some of the locations I knew were and are haunted from previous Paranormal Investigation shows but it was nice seeing new locations that no other Paranormal shows have ever done. We hope that there will be a Season 3 as we always really enjoy another Paranormal show to combine with the other Paranormal shows that we do watch already
