Please bring this fabulous series back. The presenter is so engaging and the history amazingly interesting. I was so looking forward to seeing many more series in different locations around the UK. This has been an excellent and fascinating series. Please bring it back!!!

:(((: Totally disgusted and disappointed. When you think of the utter GARBAGE that the BBC transmit, to cancel a programme of this calibre is a disgrace. I will be cancelling my licence fee forthwith and will NEVER watch ANY BBC programme in future.

Devasted to hear this, the best history programme ever- both educational and entertainting. Excellent presenter too. Please reconsider.

Like others here I am totally shocked that here wont be another series of this wonderful programme...was really looking forward to the next episode, and in particular different areas of the country. David Olusoga is the best presenter the BBC has....really engaging. Interesting that so many women are writing here to express their shock. D.O. is so inclusive of ordinary womens stories in a serious and detailed way that is not sensationalist or just focussing on monarchy and rich people which are part of the many boring history programmes that are increasingly part of the offer.

I am so disappointed to hear that this, my favourite programme will no longer continue into series 5. This is one of the best & most original the BBC has put out. It is so revealing to hear about the lives of the house occupants. Fantastically researched & a brilliant way of presenting our social history. David Olusoga is a superb presenter.

I am so disappointed that you've cancelled 'A House Trough Time' . I'm currently watching Season 4 again .
It was my favourite programme . The concept of illuminating the history of a country though telling the story of one house was highly original .

There were so many regions yet to explore . David Olusoga is an excellent presenter .He's erudite without being pompous, empathetic and has the most mellifluous voice !
I only hope that another channel will have the sense to see it's obvious merits .

Astonished to hear there will be no 5th series, in my opinion its 1 of the best programmes on TV. BBC what are you playing at, there is literally nothing worth watching anymore, remind me why I pay my licence fee? [angry]

A House Through Time was a brilliant concept, a great way to tell the stories and history of people and places usually overlooked, and David Olusoga is an excellent and empathetic presenter.
So why no fifth series, BBC? Too expensive? Lots of research, certainly, which was part of its brilliance. Too niche? Or perhaps too ‘woke’ in its coverage of slavery and dire poverty for the political masters you seem to have to appease? In any event, it seems far more worthy of funding than many of the other shows that run and run till well past their sell-by date.
A huge mistake which I hope will be rectified at some point.

Why on earth has BBC 2 cancelled “ A House Through Time” ?
This was the best programme on all TV , thoroughly entertaining, interesting and thought provoking. The BBC should be ashamed.
David Olusoga was brilliant!
I am more than disappointed- angry and fed up with the BBC.
