Charlie Goldsmith is The Healer on America’s network TLC and season 1 of this reality television show premiered on November 6, 2017 with brand new 42-minute episodes. There are doctors and then there are those, who believe in alternative medicine, which also includes a special kind of healing through energy. This is what Goldsmith specializes in and in this new series he is on a mission to demonstrate his incredible skill. He will even undergo scientific studies to prove that he is no joke and to gain real credibility. The first episode features a mother of five, who lost the ability to walk, and a man battling Lyme disease. At this point, The Healer scores a rather strong approval rating of a whopping 8.6 out of 10 stars on IMDb and the first episode garnered an audience of 0.92 Million viewers, which climbed to 0.99 Million live viewers in the following week - putting the series well into the Top 35 cable ratings for that day.
