The brand new reality documentary series Meet The Putmans premiered on the American network TLC on September 11th, 2017 for its very first season. The series hails from the production companies MysticArt Pictures and Discovery Studios and is executive produced by Katy Wallin.

Meet The Putmans literally features the entire Putman family, as they are all living together under one roof. This might not sound that crazy at first, but as soon as you realize just how many generations are actually involved here, the show becomes a whole other ball game. The heads of this extremely large family are Bill and Barb Putman, who have been married for 35 years and have four adult children. These grown-up kids all come with partners and more kids – so ultimately we are talking about 26 people living in just one house. If you think that their house is a mansion with 48 bedrooms and just as many bathrooms, then you are very much mistaken, as the Putman’s home only has six bedrooms and two bathrooms.

People brought up legal issues. They were all dropped except the last one. A subcontractor threatened one of Bill's sons with a utility knife, and the Dad pinned him and threatened to kill him if he got up. Allegedly.
Who here would NOT go to war if someone threatened their family with a knife? I think it's a bit unhealthy that the kids all still only do what Dad says,and they can't spend more money on a Doctors child than that of a construction worker because the funds are pooled.. but, they all choose it. So, not our business. I enjoyed watching, but it's a reality show; of course it's manipulated to show whatever TLC wants you to see.

PLEASE BRING THEM BACK. I MISS THIS SHOW SO MUCH! Has it been back on since the first time it was on? Could i have possibly missed it? This was one of my favorite shows. I hate it when they get me addicted to a show & then take it off & bring on stupid shows like sister wife’s & that Jazz. If anyone disagrees remember everyone has a right to their opinion. I do not believe God makes mistakes nor do I believe you should be married to more than one partner. God made us the way he did for a reason. PLEASE BRING BACK THE PUTMANS!!!!

I agree. I would love to see them back on TV. It would have been great to watch when the big home was finished and they finally moved in. The family really showed their love and devotion to each other and their way of living.

Me too. A couple days behind you. That was so stupid to cancel this show. It’s fantastic. Maybe ppl watching on Discovery Plus because there are no good shows on right now daytime…. They will see a reason to bring it back. 😁

Bring back Meet the Putman's!!! It is a great show. It's better than some of the garbage that's on now. They are a great family. We need more of the Putman's. Come on TLC bring them back.

There wasn’t any scandals or garbage that other TLC shows had so they cancelled it. Hey TLC there are people like me out there that like family shows like this. It won’t hurt to have 1 show that’s not about 90 day fiancé or 90 day diaries or before the 90 days. I like them but sometimes normal and nice is good t0.

I live close by the Pitman's. I'll be the first to say, tlc just didn't show any of the bad stuff. The father of that family is a terrible person, always starting fights with people that don't do exactly as he wants. He started a huge fight with a guy on the side of M-81, in Caro MI. And unfortunately that wasn't the first time. Just the first time is was publicized. They pulled the same thing again yesterday, because someone passed them on the road! Great family there!...

I really enjoyed this show, actually our whole family did! This is one show that we could all watch together and I didn't ever have to worry about my children watching! I wish they would bring it back! We need more shows like this and less Kardashians!!

I think you should take off 90 day fiance since its mainly supporting immigrants in our country just marrying for citizenship.. i watched bits and peices of that stupid show and it seems like every one does that and gets divorced shortly after or they magically disappear in our country stealing our jobs. Its just not fair for us white minoritys who get no bemefits!!! Anyways, REPLACE THAT STUPID SHOW WITH THE PUTMANS!!! SIGN THEM FOR AT LEAST 7 MORE SEASONS!! AND GIVE ME THEIR ADDRESS SO I CAN LIVE WITH THEM TOO... HAHA

I agree Melissa with you, it happened to me. First husband I was head over heels and he married me to get a green card. We met in school….young love.
Some of the Americans seem so desperate, on the 90 day … they have so many other issues going on. I just turn the channel because it’s just not entertaining anymore.

I love this show please bring it back. You have some great shows & then you drop them. Please this world needs the kind of shows our children need these kind of shows. These are real famines & they act like families should it is so wonderful. Their family values are important they may really reach some children. I know when I was a kid I watched 8 is enough & this reminds me of that show.

Please bring this show back I really miss it & I am going to give your channel up completely if you keep bring these stupid show on like skin tight, whatever the name of the show where the man has 20 wives & 50 kids, then the girl that used to be a boy. I am sorry she was not old enough to make that kind of major decision & then you are putting her on tv to make it look normal. This world is loosing it. Tell all of them it’s ok & they will believe it. It’s not my place to judge,I love regardless but they know the difference & when they have to face God he will be doing the judging. Well I guess this one isn’t a family value so I take that one back. I do love this show but to marry someone in 90 days that you met over the internet in crazy espically if you have children. Hopefully it’s not something you would want your daughter to do. So don’t do it do it to her. But I do love the show I just don’t know how to explain it. Made for tv only. It’s just not for me in real life I guess. Everyone has their own opinions. ❤️

I stumbled across The Putmans on TLCgo. What a refreshing series to watch. We need more holsom shows for all ages to enjoy. No controversial issues are involved and I LOVE THAT! The family is real and my family can relate to them on many levels. TLC, do yourself a favor and continue with this show. On a side note. I loved how Jen opened up to Billy regarding how she felt about herself and her body. He was so supportive and it was wonderful. Then she meets with he mom in-law and her sister in-laws regarding this and it was refreshing how they all came together and helping her to change. Much love to this family and I do pray that we will be able to enjoy many more seasons of watching your family blossom and grow.
