General information and cast

On July 13th, 2017 the comedy series Flulanthropy debuted on the comedy channel Seeso as a Seeso Original with a brand new episode. Yes, you read that right – season 1 of Flulanthropy is one half-hour special. That’s it. The show hails from the production company Comedy Bang! Bang! Productions and features the German internet sensation and DJ Flula Borg, Ed Helms as well as Jason Sheridan as Thomas, Caro Pampillo as the Obstetrician, Scotty Servis as the crooked politician and Samuel Whitehill as Scott Pruitt. The weird and wonderful show is executive produced by Flula Borg and Ed Helms in collaboration with Scott Aukerman, The Director Brothers, Mike Falbo and David Jargowsky.

Flula is interviewing Ed Helms, when he suddenly receives a reminder that was set years ago. This reminder sends Flula down a disastrous and very much hilarious path to become the world’s greatest ever philanthropist. Wanting to do good in the world, equipped only with his favorite fanny-pack and his new sidekick Thomas, Flula sets out to change the world, one issue at the time – starting with climate change.

Just a small correction, not your fault at all: Flulanthropy was never meant to be promoted as a series. It was always a one-off special, though there is a chance that it may be expanded to a series in the future. Seeso misreported the situation to media outlets and it's spread from there. My understanding is that it was just human error, nothing malicious or negligent, but I thought knowing this might make you feel better about the show (though you already seem to be a fan! :-) ).
