The first season of the new hilarious comedy series Shrink premiered on Seeso on March 16th, 2017 with eight episodes. Created by Ted Tremper and Tim Baltz, who both also act as executive producers together with Patrick Daly, Chuck Martin and Jonathan Stern amongst others, this show is produced by Abominable Pictures and Jean Doumanian Productions.
Shrink is the story about a medical school graduate, who – through a series of unfortunate events – loses his residency and suddenly finds himself with half a Million Dollars’ worth of student loan debt. Seemingly at the end of his rope, David discovers a loophole, which could mean that he would still be able to become a real doctor by becoming a therapist instead. All he needs is 1920 recorded and supervised hours from his patients. As David begins to solicit rather unorthodox patients for his project, who mostly come directly from Craigslist, and holds these free therapy sessions in his parent’s garage.
