CBS Axes Salvation – No Season 3

I found the show a few weeks ago and raced right through season one and two. I can’t wait to watch season three but then found out it’s canceled. I don’t understand this. Is this due to Covid? I hope they make a new season. Just when it gets really good they cancel it? Please reconsider.

Absolutely fantastic series. Chewed me up and spat me out! You can not leave us hanging like that! It's not all about American viewers CBS there are other country's out there. So CBS stop behaving like Muppets get your fingers out and give the viewer what they want! Loved it!!!

This was an excellent program. We missed it when the program originally aired and only discovered it for Season 1 on Prime. In order to view Season 2 we subscribed to CBS all access. Now I find out CBS cancelled Season 3.

I agree with the other comments that CBS really made a mistake canceling Salvation. Salvation was one of the best series’s I’ve seen in a long time. It was relevant regarding a lot of the sub-plots and the acting was first rate.

The lack of good programming is why I cancelled my cable service, I mean how many stupid sit-coms or “Reality” programs are we supposed to watch? Salvation was a thought provoking program that was extremely entertaining.

If this is how CBS treats it’s viewers I’ll respond in kind and cancel my subscription to CBS.

Bring back Salvation.

One of the primary and I do mean PRIMARY, reasons I subscribed to CBS All Access was to stream season 2 ... and yes, I'm late in learning that back in November 2018, CBS decided to cancel the series. BOO to them.

Minds can be changed ... look at that comedy show that is back on the air now after being canceled ... oh, that other great show that was also canceled and is now back (we're waiting the season to start).

Grassroots movements ... can make a difference.

Hello from France ! I just watched the 2 seasons on Netflix, in 3 evenings... yeah that captivating.. that hasn't happened to be me since stranger thing or the expense... and yes, although the all coup thing was a bit dodgy to pull through, you did it brilliantly ! The ending is great... you can't just leave us there ? It would be morally unbelievable,

Salvation is one of the best series in a long time! Great characters, plot twists and amazing acting. The subject is relevant and topical. Santiago Cabrera carries the show masterfully, and the chemistry between the characters makes the show work superbly. Please renew for a season 3! We have enough law, hospital and police series out there. Salvation is a differentiator for CBS. Keep it please.

I love Salvation- great show- it is completely entertaining. The story line is riveting- how could you not be captivated by it's premise, and realistic portrayal of inter-governmental squabbles, palace intrigue, or it's frequent (and welcome) doses of science and technology? The acting is first rate- all of the characters are absolutely fabulous. I'm not really sure which I like more- the writing or the acting. They are both superb.

On the financial side, we subscribe to CBS all access, and I suspect much more revenue can be garnered from other streaming subscribers, and international viewers. It isn't just about the viewers that watch during the first airing. Modern viewers know that we can always stream shows later, and this of course affects viewership ratings. CBS has a winner on their hands, and they should RENEW SALVATION FOR A SEASON 3!!

Love it, love it - please bring us Season 3!

Well .. the end of the world theme got my attention in season 1 but by the end of the season I was hooked by the marvelous acting and storyline twists .. in season 2 and as things got clear and with the great john noble (loved him in Fringe) in the season i couldn't miss a minute of every episode till the season finale and the breathtaking ending that is really a powerful beginning for season 3 .. Great show , will be waiting for another season hopefully soon .. Won't forget to say that Santiago Cabrera was amazing and this show is his masterpiece

The death of the World is a classic science-fiction story line and Salvation has certainly taken that story in many different directions all at once, but somehow it all still hangs together because of the characters. Spies, intelligence, sacrifice, killers, choices, mistakes, sex, sabotage, heroic intentions, betrayal, love, saving children... everything... all in one pulse-racing show. The writing is clever and the actors have succeeded in making me really care about the characters on this show. Doesn't hurt that Santiago Cabrera is gorgeous either. (wink)

The ratings for this season are scary-low, but I will never forgive CBS if they leave us fans hanging. (I already have a teeth-gritting grudge against CBS for the absolutely unnecessary cancellation of Person of Interest! Ratings were good and they were making money but they weren't making ENOUGH money off the show so they tried for something else that might make more.) RETURN FOR THE THIRD SEASON, SALVATION!
