General information and cast
The first season of the reality cooking competition show The F Word premiered on the Fox Network with eight one-hour episodes on May 31st, 2017. The series is produced by Studio Ramsay and All3 America and executive produced by Gordon Ramsay, Greg Lipstone, Layla Smith and Chris Brogden. The F Word is based on the eponymous original British series, which ran successfully for five seasons from October 2005 until January 2010 broadcasting over 51 episodes.
This cooking competition basically picks up on the same premise, where American families compete against each other in a high stakes cook off, who are then judged not only by the larger-than-life Gordon Ramsay, but also various celebrity guest and VIPs, who will all have a chance to sample the cooking skills of the contestants. The first season of The F Word features stars like Jamie Foxx, Kevin Spacey, Snoop Dogg, James Corden, Katy Perry, Andy Cohen, Jamie Alexander, Rachel Bilson and Joe Manganiello.
