The first season of the reality TV competition show Girl Starter premiered on the TLC Network with six episodes on April 28th, 2017. The concept for the show was created by internet entrepreneur Julie Collins when she was only 16 years old, basically saying that one should “reach girls when they are still moldable” to become a boss. Girl Starter is produced by Al Roker Entertainment and hosted by Collette Davis. Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie also make an appearance.

Make room for Girl Starter – an entrepreneurial and brand new reality TV series that focusses on young ladies aged between 18 and 24, who want to launch their own business. These girls actually compete for the grand prize of $100,000 as well as the help of some experts. Girl Starter outlines the six early stages of building a business starting with the basic idea. The reality competition series showcases these various stages including the pitch, some challenges and also surprise guest stars.
