On April 7th, 2017 the first season of the true crime reality TV series You The Jury premiered on the Fox channel. The show is hosted by current Fox News Channel host Jeanine Pirro, who used to be a New York State jurist herself and executive produced by Conrad Green and Jay Renfroe. After just two episodes, the show got axed by Fox Network due to low viewer ratings.
You The Jury is a daytime reality courtroom show with a twist, where the viewers at home actually had a vote in these high profile civil cases, which were re-enacted by very well-known lawyers, who are famous for their own high profile cases. The presiding judge in this series is former judge of the Superior Court in California LaDoris Cordell. The viewers at home will get a chance to cast their vote, who they want to believe, once all the plaintiffs and defendants presented their case to the court.
Season 1 cancelled after just 2 episodes
This really doesn’t happen very often, that a show is cancelled after just 2 episodes. Unfortunately for You The Jury, this is exactly what happened, when the Fox Network decided that the 1.5 Million viewers in the first episodes weren’t enough to keep the show going – even just for the very first season. And with an overall rating of just 3.9 out of 10 stars on IMDb it also doesn’t look like that You The Jury will return at some point in the future.
