The History channel is famous for its reality TV shows and the newest addition fits right in. Detroit Steel premiered on the 28th of January 2017. The production studio is Hoff Productions, executive producers are Alex Hoff, Michael Hoff, Melanie Chilek and Bruce Klassen, who also directed the show.
Once the busiest automotive manufacturing mecca in the world, Detroit had lost its shine for many years, but now Adam Genei and his team at Mobsteel want to bring an end to it. This is clearly a show for gearheads and it tells stories about classic cars and how this garage turns literal rust buckets back into their former glory – or even better – into outright masterpieces. We get to follow them along, when Adam and Pam Genei, Dough Hanes and Steve Ryan get to work, transforming some of the most amazing rides into unbelievable ones.
