ITV’s Sugar Free Farm Won’t Get Renewed for Series 3

Sugar Free Farm is a British reality program that premiered on ITV in 2016 and is currently in its second series, which debuted on January 10, 2017. Olivia Colman narrated series one, and Helen Baxendale stepped in for the current series. The first chapter contained three episodes, and the second installment is comprised of four parts.

The show is built around six celebrities taking on a sugar-free diet as a part of a dietary experiment, while living and working on a farm. The current chapter portrays six well-known faces – Gemma Collins (reality television star), Peter Davison (ex-Doctor Who star), Stavros Flatley (Dancers), Alison Hammond (TV personality), Joe Pasquale (actor and comic) and Ann Widdecombe (ex-politician) – turning their backs on the modern food industry and trying to form new, healthier habits. This is quite a radical lifestyle change, since sugar is present literally in almost every food on the supermarket shelf, and a change that many may want to undertake, so the premise is curious to numeorus viewers for good reason.
