Series format and production info
A new British talent competition series Dance Dance Dance debuted on January 8, 2017 on ITV. Talpa Productions is behind the series, and dancer and singer Alesha Dixon and Will Best (T4 On the Beach) are the presenters. There are six 90-minute episodes to the first installment, which is executive produced by Lee Connolly and Nicholas Steinberg.
The program sees celebrities perform dance routines from famous clips and music films in front of a judge panel. Together with the partner of their choice, they have to be able to reprise the glamorous style of the original. The format is typical of similar shows – elimination rounds, a semi-final and a final round. The judge panel is comprised of acclaimed choreographers Ashley Banjo, Tina Landon and Timor Steffens.
