Forgot to mention. This show is one of my most absolute favorite shows. I rank it up there with my all-time favorite shows like House, SEAL Team, Space's Deepest Secrets, Through the Wormhole are all in my Top 5 with How the Universe Works." We already lost all the other cosmic shows I just mentioned, please don't cancel the last one. I'll have absolutely NO reason to keep my Discovery subscription. I haven't had it since mid 2023 after the last episode aired.

Came here in search of an answer to this same question. As of today 5.13.24, I haven’t been able to find any information on season 12 at all, let alone an anticipated release date.

About a week ago I asked Google's Search AI if there was a premier date for Season 12 of HTUW and it said while there was no specific date for the premier yet that "it was definitely renewed for Season 12" but it didn't cite it's source(s) for that statement. I have since searched again both using regular Google search and search with AI but haven't been able to duplicate those results.

Please continue to renew this show. My son and I enjoy learning on all its topics. I also think showing him how when observations contradict known science, the known science is questioned and at time corrected based on the newly discovered evidence.

Season 10 has 6 episodes buy when I checked with the science channel they told me there are still more to be released . they said there are 24 in all.Do you know when they will be released?

I'm a huge fan of this series and found by watching it that the intelligence of the women astro physicists, scientists, etc. somehow adds immensely to how attractive they are and there are a lot of very attractive women on the series.

So happy that How the Universe works is still going. Hope some episodes in season 10 will be about the James Webb telescope and how the rover “ perseverance” is doing. And of course, hoping it’s Mike Rowe doing the narration!

I never got an answer to this question. and would appreciate one. I would also ask what is the top size of quantum particles and the smallest size of macro particles. My question probably indicates a lack of understanding of quantum mechanics.( I am an amateur)

Yes it is one of the rare series where they actually talk about something to make you think. I mean they try to make it a family show but you really have to have some concept of astrophysics and astronomy to really enjoy it. I wish they had a show like this when I was in high school.

"How the Universe Works" and "Space's Deepest Mysteries" are the only shows worth watching on TV. They actually teach you a lot and everything else on TV is pretty much garbage.

According the Mike Rowe, the narrator of the show, he was invited to record the voice over for season 9 which was to begin airing on Discovery+ on 1/4/2021. I don't have Discovery+ so I'm not sure if that happened or not.

Dr. Jani Radebaugh talked about completing her filming of Season 8 on her Facebook Page. She was especially delighted to visit Craters of the Moon National Monument in Idaho; she said she had never been there. I think it is just a matter of time until we know the season 8 start date.

There is a Season 7 as several of the people in the show have been talking about currently filming episodes for the new season on Twitter. As of last week filming is still going on. It has been renewed just they haven't stated the date for the start of the new season. But it is 100% there is a Season 7 coming. More than likely not till around late December or Early January.

Love the show. Would like to see a show with the different observatories and what they are working on. And maybe something involving amature astronomers and their observatories, there are a lot of amateurs that would love this and learn from it. Thanks for your work on how the universe works
