Welcome Back Potter is a celebrity home renovation series that has premiered on HGTV on October 11, 2016 with two back-to-back episodes. The show is produced by Critical Content and features half-hour episodes starring Monica Potter, who is best known for her star role in NBC's Parenthood series. Monica, her mother Nancy and three feisty sisters Jessica, Brigette and Kerry set out to renovate their 1924 family home in the Cleveland area. The house still holds many memories, and even has some of the childhood mementos in place. It was sold in 1987, but Monica recently bought it back with the sole purpose of making it a family legacy.
The renovation is truly a massive feat, with the 1,800 square feet space that was abandoned, uninhabited and uncared for the last five years. The women, led by Potter, are eager to undertake some major changes with the assistance from the construction crew. Walls are torn down, the floor plan altered radically, and the home is about to be transformed into a modern and inviting place that still retains the memories and the spirit from years back, and will serve as a perfect place for family gatherings.
