Series format and production info
American Supergroup is a new music reality competition series launched by Pop on October 11, 2016. Produced by Falconer Pictures and Josephson Entertainment, and executive produced by Douglas Falconer, Barry Josephson and Gary Bridges, the new show also airs on MTV Live and MTV Classic after a two and a three-day delay, respectively. The first season contains eight one-hour episode and will be concluded with a 90-minute grand finale.
The show is built around twenty-five finalists selected by music industry experts, who are split up into five bands, each comprised of a vocalist, guitarist, drummer, keyboard and bass players. The bands can choose a genre to work in throughout the season, anything from pop and country to Latin American and alternative. They practice under the guidance of judges/mentors, and, of course, put in their best effort to try and win the contest. The judge panel this season includes host Dave Styles and four singer/songwriters: blues and rock artist Elle King, country star Jennifer Nettles, rock icon Jason Scheff, pop and soul singer Abe Blacc.

I have yet to be paid by the producers of this show.
It seems highly unethical that it is being considered that the show continue. The People that put fourth their time and effort into it's production need to be paid for their labor.
Sincerely,
Hugh Wilson
