A new unscripted docu-series Lone Star Restoration was launched on October 3, 2016 on History. Produced by Red Arrow Industries and executive produced by Danny Downing, Jaime Paxton Morey, Ryan Hardison, Jum Buss, Tabitha Lentle, John Verhoff and Russ McCarroll, the series features renowned Texas-based historic architectural restoration expert Brent Hull and his company, Hull Historical, in eight one-hour episodes.
One of the most sought after historic builders in the United States with twenty years of experience under his belt, Brent, his crew and his yellow labrador retriever Romeo team up to undertake many fascinating projects throughout the season. Among the featured structures that undergo resurrection in the freshman installment are a classic red railroad caboose and a 1930s underground liquor vault. Brent breathes new life into places that may have been close to complete eradication, and historic preservation is not only his job, but his passion as well.
