A Canadian comedy and drama series that premiered on August 26, 2016, Four in the Morning is produced by Serendipity Point Films for CBC. Ari Lantos, Mark Musselman, Ira Parker, Jess Sagansky and Matt Geller acting as executive producers on the series. The series' budget was microscopic by today's standards, amounting to $300,000 per episode.
The storyline follows four friends, played by Lola Tash (Mitzi), Mazin Elsadig (William), Daniel Masiany (Bondurant) and Michelle Mylett (Jamie). The foursome is in their twenties, and their favorite get-together time is 4 a.m., a magical and ambiguous hour when everything is possible. A journey of self-discovery, the struggle to achieve their dreams, true friendships, betrayal, relationships and broken hearts, Four in the Morning caters to a niche audience that enjoys an unconventional approach to film.
