There must be a creative showrunner and his team. Phoef Sutton is pretty unsuccessful in her Abby script. Jesse Metcalfe understood this and had to leave the show. Phoef Sutton changed Abby's script in her personal opinion. Although he didn't kill Trace's character so that the rating wouldn't drop, he couldn't increase the rating. When we looked at the Abby Evan ratings charts, there were 0 viewers. And viewership dropped below Abby and Trace's. The decision to change the Phoef Sutton Abby script was pretty wrong.

Chesapeake Shores is a series that encourages, enlightens, and entertains while bringing current issues to the screen in a manner that appeals to many viewers, whether they agree with a particular topic or not. A program that has the power to explain while also entertaining beautifully is a rare find, especially, it seems, in today’s climate of Covid, political issues, racial tensions, world crisis and more; issues that, of course, merge with the entertainment industry. Yet, you present many of these issues in a way that does not divide but rather focuses on the beauty of acceptance through inclusion. I am making a point of acknowledging your sponsors to ensure they are rewarded for supporting this program. With humility and fervent hope, I implore Hallmark to keep this program going, include even more issues while encouraging a quality product!

With the cancellation of Chesapeake Shores , it’s easy to understand why some of Hallmark’s key actors and actresses have left the network and have contracted with GAC. I have been watching the Hallmark channel for a long time and it appears that our wayward society has caught up to them and now are incorporating more of the twisted reality show type garbage into their movies, probably under pressure to be diversified and inclusive, blah, blah, blah. I sincerely hope the respectable GAC network resumes the production of Chesapeake Shores in the future.

Just watched the last episode ❤️ It was so good and so very sad to know it’s the last. I loved every episode of this show and every character. It was heart warming and it felt good to watch. I also love that is was family friendly and have you all the romance and love without all the sex and risqué elements that others shows unnecessarily always feel compelled to lead with. I enjoyed the feeling of family and it made me yearn for more time with mine and appreciate mine more and feel all potential beauty around us. I will miss it dearly and hope GAC picks it up. Either way thank you to the cast and writers for giving me something uplifting and beautiful to watch.

Agreed! Renew this show, HALLMARK! You have brought real life issues to the forefront and deal with these issues is a well reasoned and reassuring manner. This show emphasizes the importance of love, family, honesty and truth whether it is popular, acceptable to all or not. This is a well written beautiful program and gives me some personal satisfaction to watch, knowing it will not always turn out the way that I like, but in a way that somehow works…much like life! Please renew Chesapeake Shores!

I started watching this during the covid lockdown in 2020. With what was going around the world 🌎 and what I felt being imprisoned in my own home, [sad]

because of the frequent lockdowns in the land down under, in this is where I found my solace in this entertaining yet very wholesome family show series. You just don't know how it impacted my life. I didn't have my family with me and watching that movie was such a big comfort. [sad]

. Pls reconsider your decision. There's no more show like this anymore and this show is incomparable. Love the scenery, the artists itself and the story. Over all it's SUPERB!!! 👍👍👍

Seriously am gutted such a great show has been cancelled. I love shows that are about the family and the relationships they have and the ups and downs that make them so relatable and make you think and feel. There are not enough shows like this out there anymore sadly and being family friendly is a bonus. Think it’s a big mistake cancelling this and knowing there is an audience out there that love and need shows like this.

I love Chesapeake Shores. I am very sorry to see it end. It was and still is my favorite show. I dearly love all the OBrians. I wish them all the best and hope to see each of them on future Hallmark movies.

It worries me when wholesome, family shows are discontinued. This is one of my favorites because I don't have to be embarrassed to watch with family.
Very sorry that hallmark is not continuing. You are missing opportunities for future viewers.

I love Chesapeake Shores - it is such a wholesome endearing show. All the characters are really great. I understand it is good to go out when you are on top, but I am completely bummed that you won't come back again. Here's to a great run......will miss the show!

I am so sad to see Chesapeake Shores cancelled. It was one of the top shows on Hallmark. I don’t understand why they would cancel it. Hallmark, Please consider your Hallmark fans and bring Chesapeake Shores back. You’re going to lose some of your fans if you’re not careful. Just my thoughts.

Absolutely love this show! The writers are so good I feel like I’m right there. Everything is perfect, the scenery, the cast, and the story line. I was heartbroken when I read it was the final series. Please rethink this!

I agree with you. I have already contacted GAC about this and even sent them my request of picking up Chesapeake Shore. I hope GAC Channel does pick up this show. I like the Hallmark movies but lately their movies are not as great as they once were.....maybe because alot of actors and actresses have left to go to GAC.
