A new Travel Channel dream lifestyle / documentary series, Island Explorers has premiered on July 3, 2016. It is a Travel Channel in-house production, and is executive produced by Anneka Jones, Ken Druckerman, Banks Tarver and Ben Hatta. This fun summer-themed show features Jeremy and Wendy Gilbert.
Wendy is a native of Hawaii, while Jeremy is a mainland transplant, and both are all ready to explore everything that the archipelago has to offer. Exciting locations off the beaten path and spots that are usually limited to locals come to light in this sun-filled program. The first episode is dedicated to the most popular vacation spot, the Hawaiian island of Oahu. The two go beyond the all-too familiar locations to find the perfect way to meet the sunrise, search for the best locally made snack in Honolulu, take a kayak trip to an isolated beach and have a beautiful underwater experience.
