Educating Joey Essex is a British reality television series that airs on ITV2. The first series premiered in 2014 and was planned as a limited series. It was later announced that a second series was commissioned, and it has debuted on June 20, 2016. The show is narrated by Philip Schofield and produced by Lime Pictures.
Joe Essex, the star of the hit reality series The Only Way is Essex who is astoundingly unburdened by knowledge of any kind, is traveling around the world in search of answers on significant and relevant topics, such as the European Referendum and the Royal family. There are serious gaps in his understanding of the world around him, and his mission to form a coherent life picture from scratch is somewhat endearing, although tedious.
