Smoked is an all-new Destination America competition reality series with a very appropriate summer theme – barbecue and everything related. The show is produced by Citizen Pictures with Frank Matson, Tim McOsker, Grant McGahuey and Fay Yu serving as executive producers. Its freshman season debuted on June 1, 2016.
Hosted by experienced BBQ master Myron Mixon, the show features two pitmasters per episode in a face-to-face BBQ battle. There are three rounds in each competition, The Long Cook, with 8 hours to cook a cut of meat to perfection, the Kingsford One Bite Challenge, with half an hour to whip up a grilled bite to eat, and the Big Grill-Off, where an entire meal has to be created right on the spotl.
