Series info and cast

Iron and Fire is an American reality television series that premiered on April 11, 2016 on History. The program is directed by Russell MacCarroll.

The program features Daniel Casey, hailed as one of the most skilled blacksmiths in America along with his family and friends. His Romance, Arkansas business produces museum quality historic weapons. Casey and his bearded crew are famed for their amazing skills as well as the wild lifestyle that they lead. Besides Daniel Casey, the men portrayed on the show are Charlie Casey, Jonathan Kulik, Joe Casey and Bob Thatcher. Daniel Casey has begun making knives at the age of 12, and built his flawless workmanship up from there.

Daniel's younger brother Charlie is a restless spirit, who's returned home and is now learning the trade. Ex-paratrooper Jonathan is Daniel's nephew who loves woodworking and shapes the knife handles and rifle stocks of the weapons made in their shop. Patriarch of the family, Joe is also an ex-military man, and oversees everything, including the weekly family picnics. Bob is a self-professed Renaissance man assisting Daniel in obtaining materials, or whatever else the crew might need. They work hard, and in the end of the day it's clear that the men enjoy making the weapons as much as testing them out.

I don’t understand why there is no season 2 or more of Iron and Fire. This is a great show with a good story line and cast. I truly enjoyed watching all 12 episodes today on History On Demand. Whoever is in charge of good programming needs to reexamine their season lineup, and add a season 2 of Iron and Fire. Give the fans what they want “MORE IRON & FIRE”.

My husband and I enjoy watching Iron and Fire, Daniel Casey is not only skilled, but very engaging. We love the family dynamics. This show is fun, educational, always learn something new and we can watch with our family. We are actually watching reruns on Pluto TV and Hulu. History Channel you should not pass this one up! Seriously!

I just discovered this series and have watched all 12 episodes on "On Demand". I really enjoyed these episodes. Forged in fire is declining rapidly, and the new spin-off doesn't even rate a comment other than awful. I have actually learned some things in this series that seem to have escaped the Forged in Fire crowd. Please accept my vote to renew.

Just watched forged in fire and Daniel got robbed, he made a knife in an hour that didn’t break. His show is clean not liked forged in fire that tries to top the last episode with how much bad language can we jam in a 30 min show. Bring back iron and fire there is a fan base to build on.

We both loved this show, there are so few programs that we actually enjoy together, but this is definitely one of them! Please bring this show back for more seasons.

I totally agree my husband and I love this show and we're looking forward to season two. We are currently watching reruns on Pluto TV. Daniel Casey is extremely talented and his family and friends are funny. It's a refreshing show to watch not to mention cool! Come on History Channel!

This show is great and should be continued. It is educational, demonstrating an almost lost art. When this country was being settled every town had a blacksmith. They were a necessity to the community. Watching Daniel Casey do his thing is seeing living history - less the costumes and is a lot less expensive than having to go to Colonial Williamsburg. Please renew this show. We can do without some of the other garbage on the History Chaannel.

Iron and fire is a show i really like and i would like to see some more seasons.
i'm increasingly fed up with Aliens related shows and Bigfoot nonsense and other monsters and devils... I understand that every show is based on rating, audience, feedback.... but really? aliens? ghosts? monsters under the bed? Give me a break guys!.

? ? ? Don't understand what the problem is. GREAT SHOW!! GREAT CONCEPT!!!! EDUCATIONAL!!! I got my bf into the show and I loved it myself. WE HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR IT TO SHOW SEASON 2 THEN READ YOU WERENT SURE IF THERE'S A SECOND SEASON. I loved the show and the family dynamic it brought. It was a show I actually got my wife to sit down and watch with me. We need more shows like this with people sharing knowledge and talent of the old ways.
