About the show
Car Hunters is a brand new reality series on History, which is actively expanding its automobile-related programming slate. It has premiered on May 3, 2016. The freshman season is set to contain sixteen 30-minute episodes. Outpost Entertainment is behind the production of Car Hunters, and Jodi Flynn, David George, Shawn Witt, Matt Braley, Russ McCarroll and Ed de Rivaz serve as executive producers.
Each episode of the series follows a new prospective buyer and people who assist them in their search for the vehicle of their dreams. Three unique vehicles will be tested in every case. Among the buyers featured in Car Hunters are an ex-corrections officer searching for a classic convertible to go into retirement in style, a father and son looking for a thrilling auto for both to enjoy and get closer in the process, and a lover of sporty low-riders, who's been dreaming about one and now the time has come to buy one of his own.
