About the series
Reality television series Hotel Impossible is a popular one with an original premise. It debuted in 2012 on the Travel Channel and stars Anthony Melchiorri. The current eighth season was released on October 24, 2016. Hotel Impossible hails from Atlas Media Corp. and is executive produced by Rob Green, Bruce David Klein and Lorri Leighton. Three related specials have also aired – two of them, After Anthony and Hotel Impossible Undercover, center on revisiting the hotels previously featured on the show. The most recent one, Hotel Impossible: Five Star Secrets, concentrates on luxury resorts.
Anthony Melchiorri, a seasoned hotel operator, attempts to assist struggling hotel owners in revamping their businesses and setting them on a road to success. He scouts the hotels incognito in order to single out the most urgent issues that need to be dealt with, meeting with owners and the staff and drawing up a rescue plan for the property in question. Sometimes the hotels portrayed are in imminent danger of being closed down if Anthony's plan doesn't work out. The issues that are dealt with in Hotel Impossible include customer service, interior design, the owners' attitude and vision, and technical and structural problems, among others.
