The show does showcase the skills of Joe Martin! Seemingly most employees have left and gone on their own. All the cars are similar! The dialogue is pathetic. You dont need writers!
Joe’s vision is insane, he see’s a car for what it could be and not what it is or was. The attention detail is amazing, tucking bumpers, chopping a roof by 3/8ths, seriously what other car build show has that. His painting skills are second to and I’d put him up against Chip Foose any day. Joe is all art and years from now people will want his cars just like Carol Shelby. Mike Drop Dave
Joe Martin is a metal work specialist, no doubt. But his insistence on "Stance" is stupid. EVERYTHING on air ride, slammed to the ground. GOOFY. It reminds me of the automotive industry pushing towards sedans instead of coupes. Four doors are fugly! Period! But, slamming a vehicle into the ground is inviting trouble. I put down plastic in the winter underneath my S2000 in a climate controlled garage so that the concrete will not rust the undercarriage and bolts.
You sure your not confused with Martin’s builds versus the other Texas based show “Texas Metal?” They do some really great work but they are the kings of air bags. Martin does his lowering by cutting roofs, building frames that can help the body sit lower, etc. Not too much air bags, that’s the boys at Texas Metal who make ‘Em sit on the ground!
I not a fan of low riding cars that they refurbished, it hides so much of the great wheels they put on them. Joe is amazing fabricator and his air brushing and metal is amazing but i don't like the cars sitting that low. The ride and damage that it could cause is not worth it
The Best car show on your network. Joe and his crew are fantastic!!!! Im a huge fan of their work and the quality of their work!!!!! Also they have fun on this show also
We do hope they renew Iron Resurrection. It's our favorite "car" show. We especially like to see the fun they have, the interaction, the teasing, everyone gets along and all with no foul language. We're in our late early 80's and this show and Garage Squad show the most "class" of all the "car" shows on TV today.
Best of all the car shows. People don't realize the difficulty of doing all the on camera work and actually accomplishing something on the build. I'll bet Joe really appreciates it when the producers send the camera crew on a road trip with Shag and Amanda to chase down parts. It gives the guys in the shop some breathing space to get work done.
Hey guys don't forget Texas metal, those guys have done some pretty wild stuff and they have done a couple hot rods and not just trucks and off-road I do believe that they could probably work on anything that comes their way
Iron resurrection is the best. I can’t wait for season five. I Have been dying to see how the ‘48 Buick turns out that Joe traded for. I hope it is in this season!!!!
Went to their shop one day not knowing they would be eating lunch at two o'clock in the afternoon because of filming, but Joe put down his boxed lunch and went outside to look at my 29 Ford because I had a couple question about my suspension. Joe talked to me for about 15 minutes, even crawling under my car and then invited me into the shop to show me around. Class act guy. Sold the car and never got the work done but I'm looking for the right ride so him and his gang can work their magic. Wayne (South Austin)
I, like many others, believe that "Iron Resurrection" is the best auto building show out there. It appears that since "Motor Trend" took over "Velocity", all they are ONLY showing (keeping) their in-house programs. Many of which are "STUPID". Please recognize that we, the viewers, want honest intelligent programing, not a couple of guys acting like "Dukes of Hazard" want-a-bes.
Iron Resurrection is the best car re-building show ever. Joe Martin has always been great from lettering, graphics to metal work. We need more hometown Texas shows. The group of guys on this show make you feel right at home. It would be a shame to not bring this show back for many years to come. Also, wanted to give a shout out to all the Red Oak, Lancaster, De Soto motorheads. Let's do this guys! I'll be looking for lots of NEW episodes!!!
Iron resurrection is the best show out there.Joe and crew are top notch builders,as well as,good down to earth people.Old school!!!!!.[censored]in rides a distant 2nd,a good show as well.Graveyard cars would be good if that guy was as humble as Joe Martin.toooooo much drama on the other car shows!Joe and short dog are hands down the best at their craft because they are old school, and they take the time to explain what they are doing and how to do it properly.if I could afford it,I would proudly let them do my 69 Ford f100.Love the show.......would be some sort of a crime to not bring them back.Texas pride!!!
Iron Resurrection is one of the best shows on Motor Trend.... I really look forward to watching it and enjoy watching the re-runs. I watch what they do and I love that old school type of building and I actually learn so much from Joe. I've been watching Joe since Biker Build-off, I wish I could work there. Second for me would be [censored]in Rides with a close third from the group from St Louis.... I'll give Graveyard Cars a distant forth and that because they lost Dave and they changed the format (hate that format) and I don't like all of Mark's non-sense.
I watch Iron Resurrection is without doubt the best car show on the planet ,no egoes no bullsxxt, bichin rides comes second and the rest way way behind ,thanks guys
All the very best from Simon in Wales (the little bit of what you guys call england) (nearest to Ireland )
