My favorite TV show. My wife and I both love watching. Derek reminds me of the incredibly resourceful farmers I worked for in Kansas back in the 80's. It's nice to see a show put on by a great guy, with a great personality and sense of humor, doing something that we can see ourselves doing without breaking the bank.

Let's get season 3 going!!!

My wife and I enjoy watching Derek together. Even his fence-mending in North Dakota. He's personable, kind, and something of a champion of the average guy. As to the environment ... well ... the manufacture of a vehicle has about the same carbon footprint as the energy it needs to run for an average vehicle service life. And the parts needed to rebuild that vehicle are almost nothing compared with the total mass of the machine. So ... rebuilding an old vehicle dramatically reduces the environmental impact of driving. Unless you go solar and only charge at home, buying and driving a new EV is probably the more damaging move.

Well “I’ll be dipped.”

I was just looking on the web and discovered that “Roadworthy Rescues” is being renewed for Season 2!!

I am so happy to learn that & I can’t wait for it to air.

I have watched all of the season one episodes at least twice.

Derick is the best, I don’t know of any mechanics that can do what he does & do so in such a humorous and positive manner.

It is obvious how much passion Derick has for the vehicles he works on. I hope to be viewing the program for years to come.

Way To Go Derick, God Bless You!!

He does have passion of the cars but absolutely no consideration for the environment S1 E2 I'm no tree hugger but that's not cool throwing car batteries on ground and just letting things drain on the ground. Great show. Poor habits

I love this show! Derek is such a down to earth guy.
Seems like he could be your comical neighbor.
I really like his sense of humor and all the different things that he says the cars smell like inside.
I hope his show gets renewed for many more seasons.

I accidentally ran across Roadworthy Rescues and I know my husband enjoys car shows. I taped the show my husband watched and we now enjoy watching it together! It is our favorite car show! We love how he brings vehicles that have been sitting for many years back to life! We also love Derek's humor. We now call things the same names that he calls things in the engine etc.! We are extremely happy that he is going to be back for another season! We hope that he will be back for many more seasons! He seems to be a really good man and his wife seems to be a super nice person as well and we like how she pitches in when she is needed!!! You go girl!!!! Ya you too Derek!!! Keep up the great show!!! Jackie

Love this show and your YouTube episodes too. I like a lot of car restorations shows but hate the cussing and the scripted theater! This show fits the common guy and any one who has turned a wrench will find themselves laughing at themselves!!

Looking forward in watching your show of 2023. Enjoy your sense of humor.
Enjoy the fact that you take something old that's found out in the sticks and make it run.
Keep the episodes coming.

This show is such a refreshing style of show . Derek has an absolutely great sense of humor . Having a show that doesn’t focus on creating a car that is extremely expensive and overdone is really cool! There are to many shows that make high dollar cars . The approach of finding a decent car in the sticks and resurrecting it , is just plan cool !

Old Derek needs to find a rusty motorcycle and do the same thing to it . I’m sure he has come across these in the past . Best car fix it show in television bar none !!! Keep the seasons coming ! Derek you rock !
Sincerely Chris wilde

So refreshing to see a unique and well done auto enthusiast program that that deals with cars in a way that most car lovers on a budget can relate to. What a great concept bringing back these abandon treasures back to life without having to mortgage your house.

Your an imbecile. What a stupid comment. You obviously have no idea the amount of work Jessica does behind the scenes. Not to mention look after her family, including Derek.
Crawl back into your hole you rock spider.

Derek is a YouTuber and a neanderthal! he has a sense of humor many will like but it became clear to me when I was following him he sees his wife as a possession, not a person.

She is a car girl that he does not allow to do much of anything because of trolls. He feels that it is his job to protect her (not her) and he refuses to allow her to take part in drag race competitions or do much of anything because of what trolls say in the comments.

I really feel sorry for her being a car person that she cannot have her name on a quarter mile car and take part among other things on the channel. All the experiences she should be having taking part in the activities he does she is misses out on because he is a paranoid, possessive neanderthal!

Sounds like you're just jealous about Derek and his family's popularity. Derek has probably forgotten more about wrenching than you'll ever know. Many YouTubers strive to become as popular as Derek and never do. Most folks don't realize what it takes to create a successful YouTube channel. Long hours away from family plus the money to get what's needed to keep the channel running. Let the man do what he does. He & his family don't need your negativity.

Engir, gtfo here, you have no idea what you're talking about. Maybe you should watch a guy's YouTube channel, you might learn a thing or 3, about how humble and awesome Mr. Bieri and his family are.
