I love this show. I Also watch it religiously and never miss it if I do miss it I stay up all night and watch the reruns as I get them 2 more times late night.

I started watching Swamp People during lockdown and I have now watched every episode. Please tell me the show will continue. It is one of the few I really enjoy. I don't know that I have a favorite. I think Zak is really funny. Ronnie is such a blowhard, but he is likeable. Ashley is awesome. She can toss gators and not even mess up her hair. So many different types of characters.

Please let us watch Swamp People here in Canada, why does everyone else get to see it but not us ! If you need room take rust restorers off for good, up here they have bad reputations and many won't watch their shows . Yes we have our reasons but I will not air them on a public site! Maybe you should do some background searching on the two main Characters and you will see!

I absolutely love this show as well as each and every man, woman and child who've graced the screen during the shows. They ARE the reason this show is so [censored] fantastic.

I love the honesty, the "right to the point" plain talk and the down to earth attitude they all have on each show. I'm continuously blown away by the unbelievable hard work that they do.

This show IS NEVER boring!

I certainly don't want to leave out "Swamp People's great narrator, Pat Duke! This man is such a treasure!

I'm hooked because of these reasons.

I hope This show NEVER gets canceled.!

I'm a huge fan of Swamp People. I enjoy watching the people who go out of their way to make a living the hard way. Like it says at the beginning of the show, "This way of life dates back hundreds of years."
I love the Landry's, along with the rest of the cast, although I'm not too fond of JR...he's too pompous for my taste.
I'm eagerly waiting for the next season, and we always watch every episode .

My husband and I love the swamp people and look forward to having a new season. We think the RON who is with the red haired lady is truly obnoxious but she (the redhead) is good. We don't like Liz and her daughter, or Stringbean's wife, Kristi. We think Willie should be the swamp king (his dad Junior is an ass) and we like Troy and Jacob but we don't like Chase. We don't like Big T and thought Daniel treated his sons bad. Daniel's son Joey and his nephew from Florida are good. We think Bruce Mitchell with the long hair and coveralls is stupid and should wear more clothes. It is a shame his dog died but then we think he was stupid for taking the dog in the boat. Ron Metvin is great. We like the salt and pepper team but salt talks too much. Glen is a hoot! Joe & Tommy have their problems. We like Joe, but Tommy seems like a pot head. Big Foot from Texas needs to put on shoes. Maybe they don't sell shoes in Texas.

Laura, I agree with most of the things you said. That being said, I would like your article much more if you knew the difference between coveralls and overalls ! Ron is in a boat instead of being in a "Pro Wrestling Ring" simply because his job is to make folks dislike him. The Sexy redhead lady is the only thing keeping Ron alive ! She is not only Sexy, she has more brains and common "swamp sense" than most on this show ! I agree with you on Willie, and Glen but, he don't wear shoes either because they are an inconvenience to a lot of true county folks that "Society" sadly deems inappropriate ! Being from the Mountains of east TN. TX is the leather Capital of the world ! It all comes down to Ratings to keep this Show on ! As John Prine has sang, "It's a Big Ole Goofy World" ! I enjoyed reading your view. Truly no offence intended to You or anyone else ! Just my point of View .

I think that the Edgar family is getting a bad "rap" based on the way Daniel Edgar was treating his sons a couple of seasons ago. It was similar to the father son motorcycle builders we all watched that is still on TV after all these years. But, if you have noticed Daniel has completely changed his demeanor after his sons quit working for him! He "Daniel Edgar" seems to have figured out his son's are more important to him than gators. I know how he was so proud to have his son to come to help him again last season ! He's still "high strung " but, I can only hope that when I'm his age I have half the energy and pride in in my life ! I also noticed when reading the comments about who they would like to leave the show, most were people that had air boats. I'm far from affording an airboat but, it's not like they are hunting in the same areas as the others are ! Also keep in mind that RJ and J Paul are native Americans, and not allotted as many tags as the others are. Explain that to me?

I love this show, and look forward every year to the new season premieres. I have never missed a single show, and God willing I never will. I do miss Junior and Teresa though, and I'm always so impressed with Willie's ability to catch big alligators and load them into his boat. There is not one person that I dislike. They are all great entertainment and if the show ends it will be like loosing family members!

I love Swamp people! It is a good dose of reality on how hard some people have to work to provide for their families. These are good people doing what they love, and I am grateful they share their lives with us. I don't think I could do what they do, but I envy them for being able to do it. I would like to see more of what they do when alligator season is done. Maybe some specials could be done about this. I liked the Thanksgiving special and the spin off of Troy Landry going to help out friends.

The original characters of the first couple of seasons were the best. However, the arrogance
of some cast members (Moliniers and Edgars) would not be missed. Lassez bon temps rouler!

Swamp People is one of the best if not the best. Sitting down to watch is like looking at a way of life at it's best. The participates are like my swamp family if I had one. Please don't depry me and other fans of another season. It's the BEST and love them all and the History channel.

Please bring back Swamp People! The best of History Channel. My family and I LOVE this show! While battling stage 4 cancer and during hospitalizations during the past 4 years I have never missed an episode! I sure miss Liz and her family though!

Swamp People is one of the best shows on television. My husband and I have never missed a show and watch all the reruns too. We enjoyed seeing some of the older cast also. Not too crazy about the elder Edgar or RJ and JPaul, but the change in cast doesn't stop us from watching every episode. Goes without saying that Troy and the boys are our favorites, and Willie is one tough guy. We are hoping that Season 10 is on the way. There are not many shows we enjoy any more as most television shows are not worth watching, so please keep Swamp People coming for all of their die-hard fans.

pound for pound, Willie Edwards is the toughest one of them all...but i love them all for their differences as well. Favorite...??? Troy sure but man Willie is a tough dude and nobody throws a hookline like Willie, period.

I love Swamp People but I don't have the History channel so I get the DVD's from my public library. I'm on Season 7 right now. It appears that Jeromy and David have been cut and Liz too. These were my favorite swamp people. Jeromy and David always left me smiling. Watching Liz and her daughter was heart warming. From what I'm reading in the comments on here it sounds like I have a lot of changes to adjust to with Swamp People 8 and 9.

Idk why producers had to change the cast on a already great show if anyone should have gotten the ax it should have been Troys greedy selfish arrogant self stealing hunting land from junior was just wrong on many levels and then bragging when he caught the winning gator for the 10,000 prize on juniors hunting ground showed me the type of person he really is

Was wondering if the other Swamp People cast will ever join the cartel and get them to buy and sell their meat. I heard Bruce say that the buyers wanted more fresh meat. I know one old guy can't do all that work alone, but they could hire him some help. I like Frenchy and G, and Willie and hope they can get into the action. And there are several others that could be back on that. Hope to see some of them included.

Now that Swamp People is back for season 9, the Cartel has certainly changed the show somewhat. I enjoy the Original cast members from the very beginning and now the show has drifted off to another area. J Paul and RJ , we can do without them. They are very arrogant . Once you introduced the Edgars, the show started going down hill from there. You must listen to your viewers, PLEASE! Willie is at top of the list along with Troy and boys. Chase just needs to be more responsible that is all. He isn't the bad just lazy!!!
I love it when you show Glen and Liz's two sons. Very special...... Keep up the good work. Let Season 10 be renewed. Well worth the wait!!!!!

I’ve seen this for many years producers, writers, owners of these shows or network have more money than they have sense this show to me was one of the best they have ruined the cast not going to talk bad about anyone that’s childish but the original cast and the way they fought to get the gator wasn’t cut short and this made the show plus all the family issues that arose during the years made you really compassionate about the cast. This boils down to one thing MONEY .I hate to say it but I’m not feeling the excitement anymore.Im not missing just Liz and family but all the old cast that includes the old cast that’s still here .Be smart and bring them back

I'm glad that they started up their new processing business. It's given them all such better dispositions. Trot was becoming a regular sour puss and Dan was hard to watch, but they are actually having fun now. What happened? before they were all struggling to catch small gators for a couple of years and now they can hardly get the gators in the boat, they're so big. And they are so plentiful again! Was it the weather this year, or did a couple of slow seasons allow the little ones to grow up? People have talked about bringing back Junior Evans but I got tired of all his crying. I hope they are doing all right though. At least he ain't shooting poor Willie no more. Thanks for the replies and you all have a good summer. God bless.

I like the entire cast this year, but do miss Liz
and her family, and Trapper Joe and even Bigfoot and his partner. What's up with the. Landry family? Did Chase [censored] the rest of them? I don't care what role they're playing, and I now know they are being paid to act,not necessarily for their swamping ability, but they shouldn't
Punish Jake since he was trying to do what he was supposed to. Please get off the Edgars! They are very instructional if you can get past their family dram a. It's more of a delivery problem, because don't you think Troy isn't just as hard on his boys as Daniel?! How soon we forget. Troy chewed Jake's ass like a tough steak one season. He needs to do the same to Chase, only a lot more. I'm not a fan of the cartel. For one, what have they done to help their cause? Troy as Don Vito was just precious! But Jake should've been by his side as his Michael. Please continue this show,but bring back the real aspects of it, and give Don Troy the kiss of death.
