Summary and production info
The Fall is a British crime series that follows a senior police detective who is commissioned to Belfast to investigate a string of murders of young women. Written and created by Allan Cubitt and starring Gillian Anderson, the series debuted on BBC Two in the U.K. in May 2013, and the current series 3 debuted on September 29, 2016. The show is executive produced by Cubitt, Patrick Irwin, Justin Thomson-Glover, Stephen Wright and Gillian Anderson and produced by Fables Limited, Artists Studio and BBC Northern Ireland.
Stella Gibson (Gillian Anderson) is a Metropolitan Police Superintendent and senior investigating officer tasked with assessing the progress of a murder investigation that has remained active for nearly a month. Seconded to the Police Service of Northern Ireland, Stella quickly realizes that a serial killer is on the loose and she must work with local detectives to find the murderer who has been attacking young women in the city of Belfast. Complications arise as Stella and the team work the case in hopes of bringing justice to the victims of the ruthless killer. In series 3 Stella Gibson is more determined than ever to call the brutal Belfast murderer Paul Spector (Jamie Dorman) to justice after he managed to survive the drastic second series finale.

Why on earth isn't there more TV shows like this being made??!?? You'd be hard pressed to find any major US networks producing TV shows like this! ....and why is that??? We need more shows like this (as well as MOST of the detective/suspense/action/thrillers that we've seen the BBC come up with!)
We need more Shows like: Luther, DCI Banks, Wire in the Blood, Scott and Bailey, The Missing, Silent Witness, Prime Suspect, Line of Duty, Wallander, Above Suspicion, Murder in Suburbia....etc, etc
If you love The Fall and need some BBC shows to binge watch, I highly recommend the ones listed above!!! And don't let us down....renew The Fall for a fourth, fifth, sixth....season!!! We are counting on you!! (After all, it's highly doubtful the big time USA networks will come up with shows that even compare with yours!)
Love this show and hope they have a 4th season. My only complaint would be wish they had more episodes, Europe tends to only have shorter series but I'd rather have great TV than you [censored] longer shows where you can basically tell exactly what's going to happen from minute to minute.
Gillian Anderson is perfect for this show and you don't have to watch it [censored]!!!
This is a storyline is great and so is the acting by Jamie and Gillian Anderson. Please renew for series 4. One of the best shows on.
