Vikings is one of the greatest shows ever!! It will always be in my top five. I have binge watched Vikings 7 times and everytime I watch it I love it even more. I'm so thankful to Michael Hurst for telling the story of Ragnar and his sons. If he hadn't I probably wouldn't never known anything about this great man or his sons. Thanks for the History lesson. It's one I'll always be glad I got to know.

Please do not cancel season 7!!!!
You're basing this off of viewers that watched 2 airings in the same night? Some of us DVR things and watch later. I myself, watched all 3 back to back. As I'm certain many others did!

Vikings invented the slowest and the most painful way to die. No wonder why today Danes are so fuc*d up!

Show is mighty good. Has to be the excellent writers. Love the show. Ragnar was definitely a solid part of the show and vikings history. Although he had to die to pave the way for what's next, we will miss him dearly in that snake "pit". Avenge him sons of Ragnar! Just don't go overboard, thank you. To be honest though, I thought Athelstan was good as well. Much of the love Ragnar had for him left a void. Without him, Ragnar lost much of his inspiration for Paris. Hope you will bring more interesting characters to the show. God bless everyone.

Since this show has started... I’ve been researching some of the stories. So to keep up with some of the facts Ragnar had to die... As far as Lagertha goes, there is not much history on her, so it’s interesting that they kept her character going. However the relationship between Ragnar and Rolo, they actually lived many many years apart, though keeping the events of rolos life true. Rolo was a revered figure in history.

I love the show but to be honest, it has change so much and now is just a bit boring. To much changes and not all for the good. I know it is base on a saga but they could change it a bit they have done it for other shows, why couldn’t they do it for this one. I am hopping that next season is better because otherwise I am giving up on it.

The show is great but, true its getting a little slow. Your killing all the good characters. Yes, maybe Ragnar had to die eventually but, it was to soon and now the bishop? Oh hell no!!!

I love this show still but Ragnar is s must to come back it's not reality but it is tv and he was very entertaining and he was the biggest part of the show. I'll watch this show until it is over and hopefully that will be a very long time away. We fans want Ragnar back please, how about in season 6?! You all are awesome!

Ragnar had to die. At least we get to see him as a ghost. I am really looking forward to seeing what the writers are going to do with Ivar.

I just wanted to add a corrcetion to this schedule, the next episode to air will be Season 5 episode 11, as it was with season 10, season 11 will have 20 episodes not 10 as is indicated above.

Thanks

PLEASE bring Ragnar back. I don't care if his death is according to history. Please rewrite history and bring him back. After all his bones were not found in the pit.

Ragnar had to die, to start the war between the Danes and English, The great Heathen Army can only be built when Ragnar dies as it is a great army built for the revenge of their farther. Without the great heathen army England would be split all over and they would not survive.

It was due to the Danes taking over that England finally became a unified England as the king of Wessex would not of dreamed of creating an England.

So please I completely agree with you that yes it is not good without Ragnar, however it is history, people would of started moaning that this was not historical enough and then it would of lost ratings anyway.

Killing off Ragnar was not a smart move. He was the stimulus for the whole series and all it's characters. Using him as a footnote is not very compelling as evident last season and let's face it, the remaining characters aren't either.
Without Ragnar this show is headed for the dumper. Have Freyja deny Ragnar entry into Valhalla unless he settles a score she has with Harbard. It's a twofer, you get Ragnar back and the show on track, and you get rid of Harbard who is useless, and his head flying across the room bouncing off the table at a Great Feast. He deserves it and no one will miss him.

Not interesting without him. That's why your ratings went down.

? I feel the same- killing off Ragnar really changes the dynamics of the show. Where he could be tough as nails, brutal and a little unhinged.....he had a gentle side, which showed the true family unit of the Vikings. That missing now, sadly.
Try & find a way to bring Ragnar back, Ashe is needed.

Hated to see Ragnar get killed off, he was as they say "larger than life" in that roll...will miss those gorgeous blue eyes and ruggedly handsome looks and his acting was superb as Ragnar...please dont kill off lagertha, Bjorn or floki cannot picture it going on without those three characters although I thought I would hate to see Rollo gone he hasnt been around as he was for the first 3 seasons I am surviving but would like to see more of him again....Great series as good as game of thrones and sooo good that they are adding Jonathon Ryes Myers...he will make it mooocho interesting as he always does...Nanci

Ecbert knew of Aelle's killing techniques, he knew it would be death by snakes. So he gave Ragnar lots n lots of antivenom, mixed it into his liquor, and so he went to be there so he can pull Ragnar out after everyone left. Then Ecbert and Ragnar go off into the mountains to be hobos together. Ecbert does this for Ragnar thinking Ragnar is going to help him kill Aelle and become King of more [censored]. But Ragnar will betray Ecbert when his son's come. Everything is happening as Ragnar & Ecbert planned. Ragnar must fake his death so his sons go to England to help him revenge and take over. ALL HAIL KING RAGNAR, KING OF ENGLAND!

I never intended to watch Vikings originally, but I kept seeing the premier being pushed on History Channel, so I thought, "Okay, why not?" Boy, talk about being blown away by that first episode! I agree with many of you, it's kind of difficult to want to watch it now without Ragnar. Some episodes were fantastic, in that the stories were so detailed but, then, the time jumps...they seemed out of place. (They could've waited for the next season to introduce Ragnar's grown sons, IMO.) The actors were perfectly chosen for their parts, with the exception of what's-her-name-something-Polanski, she's the only one who seems like the oddball for me. ?

Can't wait to start watching Season 5! ?

I absolutely love the show and am looking forward to season 5, but in all honesty, I do not enjoy the show nearly as much now that Ragnar is dead. You have to find a way to bring him back , you just have to. I miss his character very much and I am sure that many of your viewers feel the same way. I hope that your ratings don't suffer. He was too important to the show in every way.
