Series info and storyline
The second season of the US drama television series Outsiders premiered on January 24th, 2017 on WGN America. It is created by Peter Matter and produced by Famous Horses, Fedora Entertainment, Touchy Feely Films, Tribune Studios and Sony Pictures Television. The executive producers are Adam Bernstein, Dan Carey, Paul Giamatti and Michael Wimer, amongst others.
The series portrays the Farrell clan as they fight for independence and control over their land in the Appalachian Mountains in Kentucky. The Farrells chose a life in the woods, in extreme isolation and away from the normal society. Their interactions with those outside of their clan are very limited by their own choosing, but when an eviction notice is posted at the entrance of the mountain, everything changes. It becomes a clash between the wild homesteaders and the authorities. The main cast includes David Morse, Ryan Hurst, Kyle Gallner and Thomas M. Wright amongst others.
Overall reception and renewal
This wild and epic TV drama sits comfortably in the well-liked category, with 63/100 on Metacritic, 7.6 out of 10 stars on IMDb and 78% on Rotten Tomatoes. The numbers of viewers went down a little, but sits still steady at just under 0.8 Million viewers for every episode. The amazing performance of the cast sure pulls a lot of these numbers in and the topic of the power of the government over normal citizens is definitely more current than ever and definitely makes for interesting TV.

wow such a great TRUE movie
There are enough sit-coms (ugh!) and game shows, cooking shows, all the other stuff we don't watch !!
Please bring it back!!!
Why would WGN want to drop it?????? I should be left till 3,4,5, etc. I live in Central Florida and the people will be mad about this Wait till I tell them there will be no "3" Most of the people here work at the Kennedy Space Center. They will probably sign up also
