or less binge watched series 1 and 2 and now desperately hope there will be a series 3. Brilliant show - shades of Breaking Bad, Narcos and Fargo.

I love this show, but am in a quandary why I’m not seeing all Episodes or seeing them on different date than orig listed. (i.e., I saw the ad for season 2. It clearly stated that it would begin on 5/28/19 @10 p.m. I searched for it 2 weeks prior but saw “to be announced” on the station that carries it locally on DirecTv Ch 307. WGNHD. I also searched 5/26 - 5/29 for it and finally found it as listed below:
S2 E1 - Excommunication played on 5/29/19 at 11 p.m.
S2 E2 - Faspa played on 6/5/19 at 11 p.m.
I put it on “record all showings” (DVR) However, I never got to see S2 E3 until I went to my iPad to search for any full showing &watched it online. I don’t remember where bc I could not get it again for Episodes 4, 5, & 6. I’m going to search again now & see if I can catch up. I did call DirecTv on this but they didn’t seem to know anything about it! Has anyone else had this issue? Is it a carrier (DirecTv) issue?

Pure is an extremely good show. I sure like to know who is counting the number of people who watch it because they must be only counting one of every 15 or so that watch it to come up with only 200,000. Number like that is got to come from some nut job. Anyone who will take time to just give it a try and has at least a basic understanding of the Mennonite ways will be able to understand and enjoy this show.

Wow Love the Show I'm hooked.
Sorry but when they speak German it's off way off.
I did work in Germany for 5 years and speak it well .
On the show they said ashlob while speaking the word should have been Ashloch which means [censored].
Also they said dumcop it should have been dumkoph which means stupid.
Some of my work is also on the ib-site.
Not looking to act but looking to help you with the German and the feeling that goes with it.
Well there it is. You want to talk you got my info.

their "German" is not "way off." It is precisely what it should be, the Mennonites do not speak today's German, rather they speak a unique form from a dead German dialect called Plautdietsch. This is an East Low German dialect, was a German dialect like others until it was taken by Mennonite settlers to the southwest of the Russian Empire starting in 1789.From there it evolved and subsequent waves of migration brought it to North America, starting in 1873, and mostly from there to Latin America starting in 1922. so i am sure your German is wonderful but PURE's characters often refer to Plautdietsch as their language, they never call it German. hope this is helpful

I was hooked from the first episode of Pure. Was looking forward to season 2. Maybe Netflix will pick it up now that they have to have Canadian content.
CBC you dropped the ball one more time.

An awesome CBC show. Please season 2,3 etc. This incredibly went on for decades and so there must be more stories to tell about the Mennonite Mob, Canada and Mexico connections.

This is a great series. Very compelling. Very well written moral delima's at every turn. Actors have been well chosen especially Noah! Keep the series going the story needs to be told.
