About the series

Kosher Soul is a reality TV series that explores two cultures through the relationship of a Jewish stylist and her African-American boyfriend comedian. Produced by Michael Hirschorn, the season one of the series premiered on February 25, 2015 on Lifetime.

As many know opposites attract, and this could not be more true for Los Angeles stylist Miriam Sternoff who is Jewish and African-American comedian O’Neal McKnight. The two are on the brink of a wedding where two cultures will meet as one, but where doubts and concerns from their loved ones are already straining their relationship. After proposing to Miriam, O’Neal must now get ready to convert to Judaism so that the family can raise their children in a Jewish home. At the same time, Miriam must do her best to blend in and incorporate O’Neal’s southern upbringing and family traditions into her own life.

I am just disgusted with these networkX only thinking about the bottom line. The fans are your bread and butter. If we don't buy the products that the advertisers are hawking, then they cancel any further ads. BUT, if we the fans BUY the hawked products everyone is happy and wealthy. SO......what that means is that they must do more to get the word out about the show, get them on TV talk shows and radio stations. Promote them on social media and make public appearances. This is a wonderful show full of heart, love, conservatism as well as funky-ism, cool factor to the 9's and comedy.

PLEAZZZZE bring back Miriam and O'Neil!!!!

Networks don't roll out the red carpet for shows that tank like Kosher Soul did. People weren't watching, and the online reviews were generally unfavorable. Why invest more money into a sinking ship? Lifetime's Little Women LA series was definitely going to be a hit or miss project, but viewers loved it. Now they've added NY and Atlanta, and you see tons of promotion for all of them. A show has to drum up some interest before the network proceeds with the type of promotion you're describing. It would be rather silly to go all out for a show with dismal ratings.
