Summary and plot
The Delivery Man is a new British sitcom that centers on a thirty something former police constable who leaves his post in hopes of finding something more meaning to do with his life. Series 1 premiered on the ITV channel in the U.K. on April 15, 2015 and became an instant hit with audiences. The show was also recently picked up by online streaming site Netflix where fans can watch the series in its entirety.
Darren Boyd stars as Matthew Bunton, a former police officer turned midwife. The Delivery Man is chock full of sarcasm and genuinely laugh-out-loud moments, as Bunton finds his way in a predominantly female led industry. The series also co-stars Lowell Gideon as no-nonsense midwife Pat, Fay Ripley as a recently divorced senior midwife Caitlin, Jennie Jacues as naive trouble maker Tash and Alex MacQueen as a senior consultant OBYN Luke Edward.
