Series info and storyline
Kate Plus 8 is an American reality television series that's been on the air since April 10, 2007, when the show originally aired as Jon & Kate Plus 8. Following the divorce of Kate and Jon Gosselin after the fifth season, the show returned after a short hiatus with just Kate Plus 8. The program is produced by Figure 8 Films and Advanced Medical Productions and executive produced by Bill Hayes. It's been broadcast on Discovery Health in 2007-2008, and moved to TLC in 2008. The current sixth season premiered on TLC on July 10th, 2017 with brand new episodes.
Kate Gosselin and her eight children – twins and sextuplets – are at the center of Kate Plus 8 plot. Her children are growing up fast and in the current season Kate has planned a fun-filled activities for her brood during the summer holidays. As well as a family beach trip to Florida, Kate also starts dating again. However, the suiters have to pass the kids-test first. As her oldest Cara and Mady are already in high-school, Kate hopes that they will still come along for her huge summer plans. The great thing about this show is the fact that this little big family always supports each other – no matter what!
