I don't understand why show stopped in mid season from January to May and four shows considered new and last season not fair to those who watched from beginning. Did not realize these are old comments but want to add how much I love and respect Miss R and will miss her and her energy and her love of family no matter what, BLESS YOU MISS R !!!!

This is one of my favorite shows! However, last night I was so disappointed in Tim's behavior toward his Mom, Ms. Robbie. Tomorrow is never promised and we all know our tongue can be used as a weapon/sword. Once we say something unkind that comment is out there in the air; in the universe and can not be taken back. One day he will regret his treatment toward Ms. Robbie!

My hope is that (in time) Tim realizes he treated his Mom horribly and will ask for her forgiveness. And, we all know she will.

He needed to do a better job (more mature) in telling his Mom what his intentions were and the benefits that she/the family could gain in his desire to open more restaurants.

Miss Robbie's nephew needs to grow up!! He needs to go back to school; get a degree in business and help Tim to "grow" the business.

I enjoy watching MS. Robbie, But I truly find her son more problematic in the show. I understand wanting to make the business bigger and better. But to me he is too much of a back stabber, and his mother started the business and he has gotten what he has from her. His ego is too big, I liked him during the first seasons, but in the last one I found him to be an ingrate and dislike his actions. He might be a nice guy in reality, but the TV show makes him look like a spoiled brat, and self entitled.

I feel like I should have my own reality show I am the only surviving sister of 5 sisters. All of of my sister's died of breast cancer early in their lives, I am 18 years cancer free.
I am a 5 star caterer in LA and have had a tough time, yet I am still holding my business together.
Working 6 days a week, like Ms Robbie whom I love and admire. She inspire me to go on as I too am in my 70' s and still going strong and happy. ? ?

I really loved this show welcome to sweetie pie ,it make me think of opening a restaurant like that. I'm from Lousiana and you know we love food especially great tasting food. I was so sorry to hear of your loss with Andre, since he's was trying to Re direct his life. Gone too soon, wish the family all the best . lLove your show.

I miss seeing " Welcome To Sweetiw Pies ", however was very happy to see they were renewed for Season 8. Possible release date in Nov. 2018, hopefully nothing changes reference the Nov. date. Like any family, there will be obstacles. What's most important is that their family has enough Love for one another to overcome those obsticles. Personally I believe that they do. I'm sure it's not easy having their personal lives, as well as the lives of some their employees put out there for world to see. However that's what they signed up for, and I personally appreciate the fact that they try to be no more than who they are. The Strenth of The Family, in my opinion is the ability overcome obstacles, by gaining wisdom growing stronger in Love because of it. Doing whatever it takes to gain respect, as well as trust for one another. Lastly, remember Communication is the key to achieving it all.

They will work it out. I think that Tim was feeling his oats, after all he is young, but I really don't believe that he meant to disrespect Miss Robbie. But, I do understand where she is coming from. They both need each other, not matter how independent they might try to act, there is a lotta of love there.

With the Inglewood, ca location closed, the sunset/gower location never completed and the north Hollywood location questionable it seems like Tim's dream has ended. Which is interesting because it seems like miss Robbie has moved on to focusing on the new hamburger restaurant that is posted on Facebook. Can't wait for the new season in 2017/2018 to see how the relationship is.

Venus, thanks for the update. I wasn't aware that Inglewood had closed completely, and that all those other variables were in question, or not. Well, all I can say is that there is a lot more to the story, and perhaps the depth of bitterness wasn't displayed on TV. How unfortunate, but when it comes to money, sometimes we get stupid, and forget about the love the brought us together. And, that's the key to maintaining and keeping things together. LOVE & RESPECT!!! But, it appears as though things are getting better it they are coming back for another season. Maybe tempers cooled and hearts abounded.

I lived in LA years ago, about 15 blocks from Inglewood. And my apartment manager was from St. Louis. Her oldest daughter (Daisy) grew up with Miss Robbie.
