QI Series 20 will definitely be on our screens soon, I went to the recording of the first episode yesterday and it's still as funny as ever!

American here and I adore this show. Loved both Stephen and Sandi. I do hope there is a 19th season and a host as bright and quick as Sandi. I will miss her so much.

Having been A devouted fan of QI for years I heartily welcome Sandi as host. She has been one of the funniest, wittiest and dare I say interesting guests in the show so far. Thank you very much to wonderful Stephen! A bit over a week of waiting for N.

"it is less than two weeks before the 14th series of QI led by the ever-charming Stephen Fry returns to BBC Two"

FALSE. It won't feature Stephen Fry. How can you make such a massive mistake?!

I'm sure the show will retain its successful format. It's just a question of a different personality in charge of the questions. I expect it will still be Alan Davies with the usual rotating guests and the occasional newcomer. Comparing Sandi Toksvig to Chris Evans is ridiculous. He is a candidate for 'Most irritating man on TV'. I have never watched any show he's presented (I've just seen excerpts) but I've been very well entertained by Sandi since the original, "Who's Line is it Anyway". I can hardly wait to see the new series.

I am very relieved to learn that QI has been renewed. Sandi will do just fine. I thrive on it and can watch the episodes again and again. It`s brilliant food for the mind and spirit. I am not British but the show seems to be uniquely so. Can anyone tell me if the format has been sold overseas ? Holland for one that I know of (the host was on one of the shows).

As one of the 'elves' who research and write the show I can promise you that Sandi is absolutely amazing. We recorded the new series in May/June, it'll be on your screens sometime this Autumn, and it is very much the QI you know and love. We laughed through every episode. Stephen was a joy to work with and will be much missed. But Sandi is fabulous as host and QI goes on. You won't be disappointed! :)

Congratulations to you and your elfish (elvish?) associates - wonderful work. If it's in the can then it should be on the screen ! What are the programmers waiting for ?

Sandy is a brilliant choice. I will be looking forward to it very much. She seems very knowledgeable as a guest.

My vote would surely go to David Mitchell rather than Sandy. The speed of that mans brain could only be matched by Fry and Jimmy Carr. I hope Sandy will be able to keep up.

David Mitchell is great. "I've missed your 'angry logic', David" - Stephen Fry :)

Very much looking forward to the new season! Nothing wrong with a woman at the helm - perhaps some other BBC programs should take the hint!
